Nike 2016 Football Jersey Font

Nike came out with a new font for Euro 2016 as well as for use by other federations that it sponsors. The font will be used on the jerseys of Australia, Brazil, Croatia, England, France, Greece, Holland, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia among others.

The Nike 2016 font contains uppercase letters, numbers and some symbols. The font has accented letters or diacritics for West, Central and East European languages. Manchester City FC 2014/2016 UEFA Champions League Font

The kits of Manchester City FC for the 2014 to 2016 seasons is supplied by Nike. Manchester City uses the Premier League font on the kits it uses in the English Premier League but uses a different font on its UEFA Champions League kits. 

The Manchester City FC Champions League 2014/2016 font contains the complete Latin 1 alphabet, two sets of numbers, some symbols and a wide range of accented letters or diacritics as follows (shown here in Verdana): 

The numbers in the Manchester City FC Champions League kits has an inline. To make this work as intended in a digital font, the inline has to be separated from the base character. Separating the inline created an outline version of the number. The base numbers, which is the solid or plain numbers, are found in the normal number positions, namely, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 0. The outline characters are in the Shift + number positions. This is done by pressing the Shift key, holding the Shift key down, and then pressing the key of the number that you wanted to use. The outlined numbers are generated by using the following keys: !, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *, ( and ) representing the outlined version of numbers 1 to 0, respectively. The instruction on how to create numbers with an inline is included as text file in the font download.

PSV Eindhoven 2014/2015 Jersey Font

The kits of PSV Eindhoven for the 2014/2015 season is supplied by Nike. PSV Eindhoven is playing in the Dutch first division, Eredivisie.

The PSV Eindhoven 2014/2015 font has the basic alphabet and two sets of numbers. Although the accents were dropped from a player's name on the jersey, the following accented letters are present in the font (shown here in Verdana): 

The numbers in the font come in plain and outline numbers. The plain numbers are in the normal number positions while the outline numbers are in the shift-number positions (Press and hold the shift key and then press the desired number.) You can use either kerning or layers to create the outlined number shown in the preview image. In layers, place the plain number on a layer below the layer with the outline number and then vertically and horizontally align the two layers. When using kerning, type the plain number first then type the outline number and the two characters will automatically merge as shown in the preview image above. Juventus 2014/2015 Season Jersey Font

The kits of Juventus for the 2014/2015 season is manufactured by Nike. 

The font Juventus is using for the 2014/2015 season has an outline. The font as used on the Juventus jersey also does not have accented letters. Therefore, the font based on what is seen on the Juventus jersey only contains the basic alphabet, numbers, some punctuation and symbols. 

As this is an outline font, each character in the font had been split into two characters - A solid/fill character and an outline character. The outline version of the characters are found in their normal position while the fill/solid characters are in the shift-character position. In letters, the outline version is in the lowercase and the fill/solid letters are in the uppercase. FIFA World Cup 2014 Brazil Jersey Font

The kits of Brazil national team for the FIFA World Cup 2014 is provided by Nike. 

The WC2014 Brazil font has a complete Latin 1 accented letters. The font also has two sets of numbers, solid numbers and outline numbers. The solid numbers are in the normal number position while the outline numbers are in the shift-number position. 

To create the numbers shown in the above preview, your program must support layers. Create a layer, choose a color for the outline and then use the numbers in the shift-number position. Create a new layer above the first layer, select the color for the foreground layer and then use the numbers in the normal number position. Finally, center align the two layers vertically and horizontally. The instructions on how to use the Adidas numbers might be able to help explain this more clearly. 

The World Cup 2014 Brazil font was created based on a several raster images mostly of jerseys found through an image search. This font is available in True Type and Open Type.

FIFA World Cup 2014 England Jersey Font

The kits of England national team for the FIFA World Cup 2014 is provided by Nike. 

The numbers of the England font are fine but it is another matter when it comes to the letters. The letters E and F (looks like a heavier version of the Portugal font) do not seem to fit the design of the rest of the alphabet and the letter W, which is an inverted M, is just plain ugly. It appears that someone at Nike was tasked to create new letters and numbers for Englad but got too lazy and decided to assemble the alphabet from various designs. 

The World Cup 2014 England font was created based on a raster image found through an image search. This font is available in True Type and Open Type.
